Having Hello Newman as our band was easily one of the best decisions that we made in planning our wedding. From our initial contact, they were extremely friendly, quick to respond, and on top of important details – very professional. As the day drew closer, meeting with the group put me completely at ease that they would handle the night perfectly, from ceremony music and reception announcements to first dance songs and the actual reception. It was so much fun to be able to choose a core of songs that we know and love to have everyone dance to. All of our friends and older relatives alike knew every word to most of the music played and it only got better as the night went on. We've had MANY people tell us since our day that they enjoyed Hello Newman IMMENSELY. They are worth every single penny and then some.

Hello Newman absolutely made our wedding. We had so much fun dancing the night away and all of our guests were blown away by their talent. The guys were enthusiastic and professional. For our special day we were insistent on having live music. Being byproducts of 90s alternative music and suckers for nostalgia, we contacted Hello Newman, a band we frequently saw playing around Portland. They were incredibly accommodating, responsive and collaborative through the entire process, they even played during the ceremony, and added personal a touch by playing a requested song. As weddings go, there were a few snafus but the band kept the party going without missing a beat. Has a band ever got an encore at a wedding? Well Hello Newman got two and they graciously played a few songs and our guests absolutely loved it. Friends and family always reflect on the band as one of the highlights of the evening (aside from their favorite couple getting married of course). We can't thank them enough for making our day that much more special.
